Table of Correspondences

The table below may be useful as a touchstone in terms of understanding the relative relationships of the different topics we are studying. However, don't be fooled by the nice neat little boxes in tidy little rows and columns. Reality is not like that and the terminology used by Gurdjieff and Bennett often changed over the course of time.

In general any item in a box can be taken to spread out into the box below and the box above. Also care must be taken in trying to equate the relative levels of different systems, traditions or ways of looking at the world. Sometimes they match up very well, sometimes the indicated correspondences are only loosely accurate.
