Webex Conferencing System
The Webex conferencing system provides a robust meeting space for presentations, discussion, visualizations, guided meditations, group art and much more. Despite its 'electronic' nature, we have found it to be a conducive environment for this type of study.
How it Works: Webex works on Windows, Macs, Solaris, Ubantu, Red Hat and other operating systems that support a modern browser. To access the meeting room your browser will download and install a small Webex plugin. Meetings can be accessed by going to the meeting calendar at https://communiterrameetings.webex.com and clicking on the "Join Meeting" link, or through a link in an invitation email.
Audio Connection: You can connect to the meeting room audio either through your computer microphone and speakers or through an ordinary telephone connection. If you are using your computer it is highly recommended that you use a combination headset/microphone to avoid feedback problems. If you connect to the meeting audio through a telephone, you can still follow the video presentation on your computer screen.
